To Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Nova Scotia Premier Stephen McNeil
A luxury golf course in Nova Scotia is lobbying for $18 million in corporate welfare to build a new airport for wealthy golfers even though there are already two airports in the area.
Both Ottawa and Nova Scotia are in debt; budgets are tight for everything from hospitals to highways; and, taxes are already too high – we can’t afford unnecessary airports for luxury golf courses.
We, the undersigned, call on you to immediately scrap this absurd proposal to waste taxpayer money.
